kaniad san silin / dolau gleision / cainc cathreiwr
the first tune is also from the robert ap huw manuscript (1613), inspired by bill taylor. the second and third song are from the books of iolo morgannwg (late 1700s). i've heard versions of cainc cathreiwr from sille ilves of ystalyfera, meredydd evans and ceri rhys matthews. this particular version follows iolo's dots.

mae'r tiwn cyntaf yn dod o lawysgrif robert ap huw (1613), ysbrydolwyd gan bill taylor. ffeindais yr ail a trydydd yn y llyfrau iolo morgannwg (1700au hwyr). rwy wedi clywed sille ilves ystalyfera, meredydd evans a ceri rhys matthews canu fersiynau eraill. mae fersiwn 'ma yn dilyn y 'dots' iolo.
